Olympic Boxing Tickets

Boxing is a sport in which two players engage in a competition of strength, reflexes, and endurance by giving punches to the opposite contestant with the goal of a knockout with gloved hands.

Amateur boxing is the part of Olympic Games and Commonwealth sport and is a common fixture in almost all the major international sports events. Boxing has been included in every Olympic Games since its introduction in the 1904 Olympics, except for the 1912 Olympics in Stockholm, because Swedish law banned the sport at the time. That’s why it is not included in the 1912 Olympic. The 2008 Olympics was the final games with boxing in which only males are participate. In London 2012 Olympics, women's boxing will be also included in the program. Separate Boxing Championships are also introduced in the world. Boxing is supervised by a referee over a series of one to three minute intervals called rounds. The result is decided when a player is deemed incapable to continue by a referee, is disqualified for breaking a rule, resigns by throwing in a towel, or is announced the winner or loser based on the judges' scorecards at the end of the competition.

London 2012 Olympic will showcase Olympic Boxing from Saturday, 28 July to Sunday 12 August 2012, at the ExCeL, London. 286 athletes (250 men and 36 women) will contest for 13 Medals. You can get Olympic Boxing Tickets from Global Ticket Market on affordable price.
